Customer Review: "Matfer Exopat" Sounds Like a Cool Spaceship

I purchased the Matfer Exopat with my mind set on using it for baking. Surely one would be foolhardy to purchase such an item to use in "roasting," when the tender adherent pan drippings should be deglazed with a fine wine or liquer and hastily incorporated into a pan-sauce for optimal flavouring of the meat that was roasted. For baking, these sheets are simply great non-stick surfaces. If you bake cookies on them, be sure to carefully remove the pan/mat/cookies from the oven very delicately. If you *jerk* the pan out of the hot oven, the greased lightning captured in the Matfer Exopat with release your steaming hot cookies all over your oven, kitchen floor, loved ones, and pets. I am glad I discovered this while making up a batch of my best friend's stepmother's famous Snickerdoodles, and not a sloppy pan filled with Yankee Pot roast and sizzling vegetables. Had that been the case, my oven would be ruined, and possibly set ablaze by the fatty drippings of the usually low-quality meat assigned to Yankee Pot Roast duty. The conflagration would have been tremendous, as my entire kitchen and house is made of balsa wood. All in all, its a great product.
